Whatever the child’s linguistic background, he or she will be taught half of the time in French and the other half in English.
Instructional time is divided into five main areas:
- Languages (French, English and German)
- Mathematics and Natural Sciences
- Social and Human Sciences, Biblical culture
- Visual Arts and Music
- Physical Education and Health
Our timetable includes 32 periods of 45 minutes each week spread over 9 half days (no classes on Wednesday afternoons). A subject is often taught over two consecutive periods.
Each morning, children under 6 have a 45-minute snack/recess time. The recess for students from 3P to 8P lasts 30 minutes.
The lunch break lasts between 70 and 80 minutes (meal time followed by recess).
Children under 6 years old (class 3P) are not required to attend school on Wednesday mornings.
