Friends of LIA is a group of primarily parents of students, and exists to help develop the school community, promote LIA, and support various projects: for example, financing extended class field trips, health and safety awareness programs, school equipment, and so forth.
Each academic year, the school administration appoints oversight of the group at least two individuals, but it is the active participation of the entire school community which ensures the success of different activities.
Friends of LIA desires to be particularly attentive to new families, helping keep them informed and providing guidance where needed.
Friends of LIA organises activities to build a flourishing school community (festive days, fall games, parent outings, and so on).
Friends of LIA works to promote the school by providing support for our Open Days, and by organising events or other activities whose goal is to make LIA known.
Friends of LIA also gets involved in local and international solidarity programs, notably through our Fun Run.
